Don't Love the World More Than God: A Warning

Welcome to the Windows Source for Jesus Poor Chaos. My name is Paul Thomas. Today we'll be discussing a very relatable topic. A topic that we all can relate with. The dangers of loving this world more than God. The dangers of loving this world more than God. See, we are living in a peculiar time. We are living in a peculiar time. A time where evil is no longer hidden in the darkness. Evil is standing in the street. Evil is sitting in high places. Evil is being celebrated. Evil is being protected. Evil is being renamed. Evil is being dressed up. Evil is being defended. And evil is being called out. But the Bible warns us in 2 Timothy 3 verse 1. This know also that in the last day, peculiar time should come. We are not guessing. Because stretches to us, these days could come. A time where men could be loved of their own self. A time where people could love precious more than God. A time where rebellion could be normalized. A time where disobedience to God could become the order of the day. See, but the Bible wants in 2 Timothy 2 verse 3 to 5. For men should be lover of their own self, covetous, boastful, proud, blasphemy, disobedience to parents, untenfold with all natural afflictions, truth breaker, false accuser, inconsistent despiser of those that are good, traitors. When you look around today, you can see the word of God unfolding before your eyes. We are living in a generation where people do not want corrections, they want affirmations, they do not want truth, they want comfort, they do not want repentance, they want permissions, they do not want holiness, they want happiness without obedience. But do not want the cross for crucifications. God is not mocked. For whatsoever a man's soul, that should he also reap. Do not be deceived. That means deceptions is possible. A church can deceive itself. A preacher can deceive himself, a deliverer can deceive himself. You can deceive yourself into thinking because people approve you, haven't approved you. But God is not mocked. You may mock the preacher, you may mock the church, you may mock the Bible, you may mock holiness, you may mock repentance, you may mock warning of God, but you will not mock God and wait. You will not sow rebellions and reap blessings, you will not sow loss and reap purity, you will not sow pride and reap humanity, you will not sow warliness and reap spiritual power. You will not sow disobedience and reap divine favor. Because scripture said in Galatians 6 verse 8, for he that sow to his flesh should all the flesh reap corruptions, but he that sowed to the spirit should the spirit reap life everlasting. That is the law of sowing and reaping. But they want to contradict the teachings of Jesus Christ to fit into society. This is why the church must wake up because we are living in a time where people are trying to reapbreath. God was to fit their seeds, but God does not change. I want you to know this: God does not change because the Bible says in Malachi 3 verse 6, for I am the Lord, I change not. Quarter can change, God does not. Laws changes, God does not. So let me tell you something. Not because the devil has more power than God, not because darkness is stronger than light, not because sins has defeated grace. No. The church is in trouble because too many people who name the name of Jesus Christ has fallen in love with the same war Jesus died to deliver them from. No, it didn't sound high. This is not my opinion. That is the word of God. You cannot love this world and love God. You either love God or you diss yourself in this world. You love the material possessions this world offers you. Some of you go far by compromising yourself, by compromising your dignity to fit into this materialistic world. Some of you priest pull out the prosperity messages, but disregard the soul. While many people are perishing, many people's souls are perishing. People are living in the nations, people are living in deplorable conditions. People's souls are perishing, but you prefer preaching about prosperity, then preaching about salvation, then preaching about sins, then preaching about hell, then preaching about Jesus Christ. We got to repent, we got to stop compromising the gospel to fit into today's age. The Bible says in first John 2 verse 15. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him. Do you hear that? I'm not speaking for my own interpretations, I'm speaking directly for scriptures. Love not the world. That is not subjections, that is not motivational thought, that is not a chest slogan, that is a command from the walls of God. Love not this war. Not weak in him, not struggling in him, not have a life in him. The Bible says the love of the father is not formed. The love of the father is not in him. That scripture alone used believers to examine themselves. Because we are living in generations where people want to claim Jesus Christ without denying themselves. He did not say follow me as long as you keep your adolescent. He said deny yourself. Take up your cross and follow me. Take up your cross daily and follow me. That means the Christian life is not about adding Jesus to a worldly lifestyle, it is about dying to the own life and living completely for God. Dying to the old life and living completely for God. You cannot love God and love this world. They are not compatible, they are incompatible. You cannot love the creator and love the creation at the same time. Because this world has been polluted by an evil one. See, when we talk about this war, now you talk about this war. What does the Bible mean when it says love not the war? Maybe some of you do not understand will say do not love this war. But let me break it down to you. What does the Bible mean when it says love not the war? Does it mean you cannot appreciate creation? Does it mean you cannot enjoy the beauty of the sky, the oceans, the mountain, the sea? No. This is not what scripture is saying. The earth belongs to God. The earth is the law and the foreign thereof, and the wall and they that dwell with it. Psalms 24, verse 1. You see, God created the heaven and the earth. God makes creation good. God make the sons, the moon, the stars, the ribs, the animals, and mankinds. So when the Bible says, Love not this war, it is not condemning God's creations, it is condemning the sinful war system that reject God, exop meant, celebrate sins and oppose holiness. That is what we are talking about. And the Bible says in 1 John 2, verse 16, for all that is in the war, the loss of the flesh, and the loss of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the father, but is of the wall. There are three weapons the world uses the loss of the flesh, is the carpent for what God forbids. It says, for it feel good, do it. The loss of the flesh. Because it's feel good, do it. Your body belongs to you. That's the loss of the flesh. Your body belongs to you. If you do it, your body is your truth.

Your body is the kingdom of God. What is what you feel? Your body belongs to you. You are not your own. You are not your own. That means your body does not belong to lust.

Your body do not belong to fornications. Your body does not belong to pornographic. Your body do not belong to drunkenness. Your body do not belong to addictions. Your body does not belong to this war. Your body belongs to God. If you are saved, your body belongs to Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, the law of law. You see, the loss of the eye is competing what you see. It is the spirit that says I must have that. This is why condemning many of us. Because we cannot control the loss of the eyes. Some of us live two separate lives. We call ourselves Christians, but we live two separate lives. On the weekends, we live in this wall. We fornicate. We adapt for miscarriage. We live sexual imperial lifestyle during the week. Sleep with two, three men, two, three women. And Sunday we go to church and say we are Christians. Who you think you are fooling? You're not fooling God. God cannot be fooled. We got to repent of all of those lifestyles. Because our eyes have deceived us. Our eyes chase money. Our eyes chase lifestyle and disregard God. You see, for the eyes, Eve was tainted. For the eyes, that is how Eve was tainted in the garden. When the woman saw the tree, it was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes. And the tree to be desired to make one wise. Because they will mislead us. She told the food in Egypt. She saw, she desired, and she took it. Oh, because of the eyes. The eyes see it, the flesh wants it, the will reaches for it. That's why the eyes. This is why you must guard what you wash. This is why you must guard what you wash. Guard what you entertain. God, what you meditate on. Wash all the bathties. You cannot watch a movie with ultra gratification in it, or sexual gratification in it. Everything. Because why the devil controls all of those things, the devil controls those industries. So that's why we must guard our eyes. Guard your eyes. Because what enter through the eyes can build a threat in the heart. What enters through the eyes can build a thream in the heart. What enters through the eyes is very much instrumental. It has significant or insignificant impact on you. And next is the pride of life. The prior of life is exceptions with status, image, approval, recognitions, and self-exaltations. The pride of life. You live immorally. Because you have everything this world offers you. You live unfaithfully. You talk to people in a way you feel like you don't have reference for God. Because everything in this world you feel you only. The pride of life, the obsessions with status, image, approval, recommendations, and self-exhortations. The pride. Because one of the greatest sins is prior. One of the greatest sins that God hit is pride. It was because of pride. The devil was through out of heaven. It was because of pride. The devil lost his place in heaven. Because of pride, the devil lost his place in heaven. Pride is one of the greatest sins. But the devil needs pride to manipulate us in thinking that we own this war. But we do not own this war. We are all strangers in this war. We live in this world temporarily. Our existence in this world is like a wing that comes and goes. But some of you have never realized this yet. That everything you try to accommodate on this earth, every materialistic possession you try to accommodate on this earth, you cannot take those things with you. All of those things will live right here. But what will become of you when you cherish this war and disregard God and disregard Jesus Christ? And you stand in the presence of the righteous and full God. What is your excuse? There will be no excuses. This is why we continue to spread the word of God. We spread the word of God with authenticity, uncompromise. Because we fear no man. We fear only God. I speak what God put in my heart. I don't speak because of the approval of men. I speak what God played within me. Nothing in this world can ever accomplish only Jesus Christ. You need Jesus Christ. This world celebrates pride. God resists it. This world said promote yourself. God says, humble yourself. The devil can offer you all of those things. All of those materialistic things. You compromise yourself for all of those things. But at the end of the day, when you gain all of those things, you gain this war and lose your soul. What would be your justifications when you stay in the presence of the Volta God? Because all of those things are just temporary. But when you come to Jesus Christ, when you accept Jesus Christ, when you lay down your sins at the foot of the cross and run to the arm of Jesus Christ, he to give you everlasting life. That's why he died for our sins. That's why he gave his precious life for us in you to redeem us. So why you continue to prohibit things that is not significant in your life? Why you continue to prehibitate things that cannot justify your eternity? We need Jesus truths. We need to run back to the food of Jesus truths and give our life entirely. I know this war have many things that have blind your eyes. This war have things that have given you the motive to feel it is everlasting. Those are all the tactics of the devil to mislead you. Do not fall for it. Your soul matter more than the material possessions. Run to Jesus Christ. Run to Jesus Christ. This war is in here to harm him, not to give you eternal sacrifices. The Bible says, and the world passes away, and the loss thereof, but he that does the will of God a bar forever. First John 2 verse 17. Yeah, make clear. Everything in this world has an aspiration need. The fame passes away. The beauty passes away. The money is passes away. The war, everything passes away. The trade, everything passes away. Fashion, everything passes away. Cars passes away. Horses passes away. Entertainment passes away. Pleasures of saints. All those things are all temporary. So why you want to exchange your soul for the possessions of those things that cannot give you alternative? Why is the reason? Because you want to cool your chest of those things. You so much enter to the earthly desire of those things, you're willing to exchange your soul for those things and die in burnish. Because hell is real. No one should tell you that hell is not real. But use your own analytical thinking or your own psychological thinking. Why is the devil offering me all of those things? Why is the devil offering me all of those things? He did not want something because he knows hell and heaven exist. The devil never gave you anything free. Everything he gave you has an implication. Everything he gave you has a consequence. Why you want to perish with the devil in hell? Why everlasting life is free in heaven for you? Just live with Jesus, just give your life to Christ. Give your life to Christ and abandon all of those materialistic possessions of the world, all of those things that have taken your attention from God, abandon sins, and wrong to Jesus Christ. You live everlasting with God. So this is a very crucial time for you. It's a very crucial time for everyone. We got to realize that nothing in this world can ever, ever fulfill the soul. Our home is heaven. We were created to worship God. We're created to serve God. We're created in the image of God in likeness. So you see, our relationship with God is so unique that human expressions cannot exemplify it. So why you want to exchange those things for material things? Why you want to exchange those things for hellfire? You see, the highest we live in this earth is 120, 130, 120 is impossible. Just a 1500, that's the highest. You want to exchange the pleasures of this world for your eternity. Go back to the cross. Do not let the devil renew as it tools. Because he already knows his place. Our place is in heaven. That's why we name Jesus Christ. The devil cannot repent. His place has already been sealed. But we can repent. And it's time is now to repent because you don't know tomorrow. You cannot keep living in those saints and say I will repent. You keep procrastinating and say I will repent tomorrow. You do not know tomorrow. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. For the devil knows his tomorrow. His tomorrow is in hell. Your only tomorrow is with God. Keep your life to God. You cannot keep living since you say tomorrow I will repent. Keep procrastinating. And you die in your sins. And when you die in your sins, you go to hell. So we gotta repent. I'm not putting fear in you, but I'm speaking exactly how it is. That's why Jesus says in Mark 8, verse 36, for why should it profit a man if he should gain the whole world and loses his soul? Why should it profit a man when you gain all those material possessions and loses his soul? See, all those things are not warning for the exchange of our soul. Our soul belongs to God. Our soul was made to praise God, not to suffer in hell. So I'm calling you today, wherever you may be, whatever you have done that is unimaginable, whatever you have done, and only you know what you have done. But I'm calling you today, run back to the cross of Jesus Christ. Give your life to Jesus today. This is an opportunity that comes once in a lifetime. This is an opportunity you don't want to miss. This is an opportunity many people who are there today wanted, but they have it and they do not neutralize it. But I'm calling you today, as my brother and sisters, the time is now. Give your life to Jesus Christ and see the reward of your actions. Jesus Christ is calling you. What if he profit you when you came to this war and loses your soul? What is the profit? This is the question this generation do not want to answer. What is the profit? What is the profit if you gain followers on Instagram, if you gain popularity, if you gain fame, if you gain all of those things, all of these things that gratify your self-centered behaviors, all of those things? What with it profit you? What would it profit you if you gain all of those things and lose your soul? These are very important questions. And lose your soul. What with it profit you if you gain precious but lose your soul? What with it profit you if you gain applause and lose your soul? What with it profit you if you gain everything? No honor your name, but heaven does not know. What with it profit you? Some of you, because of fame, you sell your body, because of fame, your tip blow contrast, because of fame, you compromise yourself, because of fame, you're making yourself, because of fame, you'll do all the things that is gracious in the eyes of God, but what will it profit you when you keep one of those things and loses your soul? There are people today who are rich in possessions but pulled towards God. There are people who have degrees, horses, business, platform, but they have no prayer life, no repentance, no holiness, no obedience. But Jesus wants us in Luke 12, verse 21. So he that lailed up treasures for himself and is not rich towards God. All of those things, do not spend your life building treasures that cannot follow you to eternity. Do not spend your life building all of those things that cannot follow you to eternity. You can take your money to the bank, but you cannot take it to the judgment seat. You can take your title into the ballroom, but you cannot take it before the throne of God. You can take your repetitions before men, but you cannot hide your heart from the Lord. That's why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5 verse 10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that everyone may receive the things done in his body according to that he has done. Well, it is good or bad. We must all appear before God, not some, not only single, not only unbeliever. All we all will stand before God. What is your justification? We all, the day will come that we all will stand in the presence of God. All of those things we cherish will not be with us. All of those things, music, light, cry, everything will disappear. Money, everything will disappear. The excuse we make everything. That's why I'm telling you, we need Jesus now. That's why this war is a general investment. This war only pays temporary pleasures, but it charge your internal cost. Friendship with this war will lead you to hell. Friendship with this war. We got to come to the cross. We got to come to Jesus Christ. You see, the Bible says in James 4, verse 4, ye adulterer and adulteress, know ye not that the friendship of this war is enmity with God. Whosoever therefore would be the friends of this war is the enemy of God. That's why I told you. I'm not just saying because I want to say, speak from the Bible. The friendship with this war, this is not self-language. Friendship with this war. The scripture does not say the friendship with some, it's friendship with this war. Nothing in this world can ever certify you except Jesus Christ. So we are the exclusion stage of this podcast. I want to tell you that God has a plan for you. Just leave your life to Jesus Christ. Come back to the cross. Jesus Christ is calling you. Nothing in this world with effort accomplishing. We gotta run to the cross. Now God bless you and God protect you, and with God, give you our directions in life as to make our critical decisions. Let us pray. Gracious in heavenly Father, King Jesus, the God of April and Jacob, the God that never sleeps, the Spirit of a living God. King Jesus. We tell you thank you for your words. We tell you thank you for everything you have pronounced in our life. We tell you thank you for the gift of life, for the precious gift of life you have given us. Father God, we bless you this afternoon. We are not worthy to be called your children, but through your grace and mercy, we are safe. Have mercy upon us. Forgive us of our sins, forgive us of our transgressions, forgive us of everything that has been distant from you. Father God, we call upon you this afternoon. Everyone that sins has built a heart within them and release them right now by the blood of Jesus Christ. I release them right now by the King of King, King Jesus. Everyone that the devil has put or pressed on them and release the bread now by the blood of Jesus Christ. Have mercy for us. Forgive us of our sins. We are your children. We fell short sometimes, but through your grace, we are all healed. Father God, direct our footsteps, direct our path, make us come closer to your home. Make us come closer to your Lord. Great unmersive and great directions. Every place, every manipulation the devil has planned against us. We come upon the red now by the blood of Jesus. We destroy it by the blood of Jesus. We set ourselves free from the hands of the evil ones. We set ourselves free from bondage. We set ourselves free from every place of the enemy. The devil has no power over us. The material possessions of this earth have no dominion over us. Only you, Lord Jesus, have dominion over us. That has blind our eyes to see the truth. Everything that has blind our mind to reinvent ourselves into your kingdom. We break it break down by the blood of Jesus. We set ourselves free from every bondage for things that is not of you. We set ourselves free from pornographic. We set ourselves free from promiscuity. We set ourselves free from everything that have been holding us captive. We set ourselves in the kingdom of Jesus Christ. Because only Jesus had dominion over us, the devil do not have dominion over us. Our life belongs to Jesus Christ. Our soul belongs to Jesus Christ. Nothing in this world can ever fulfill our souls except Jesus Christ. Father God, have preeminent control over our life. Protect our family. Protect our kids. Protect our parents and protect us from every setback, open financial virtues, and for everyone that is listening to me now. Wherever difficulties they are fixing, wherever there has been insufficient in their life, I prayed your everlasting blessings to abroad prosperity. Let prosperity be the portions. Let protections be their portions. Let liberties be that portion. I set them free from every bondage. I set them free from every financial bondage. I release them from the hands of the devil. Every devil that has planned accident against their life. Father God, I sent your God angels to protect them and guard them and guard their families from the hands of the evil ones. I set them free. I set them free from the hands of the evil ones. King Jesus, only you have dominions over us. Because you are God Almighty. You are the King of King, the law of love, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the one who says and everybody do. Father God, take any controls of this country America. Whatever demonic dominion the devil has planted in this country. Let your throne be set within this country. Every pedophilia behaviors that has been practiced and destroy it by the blood of Jesus Christ. Protect our kids from the hands of the evil ones. Everyone that has planned evil days against any child or children in this country. Expose them by the blood of Jesus Christ. Have control and domain over us. We tell you, thank you. We glorify you.
